An insight into the manufacturing process…

Once cast, the iron is too hard for finishing, so each piece undergoes a controlled, multi‑day annealing cycle to transform the carbon structure and make it workable. After slow cooling, edges are dressed, components are fitted, and a comprehensive rust‑inhibiting treatment is applied. A tough, oven‑cured two‑coat paint system then seals and protects the surface. Every knocker is finally assembled, checked by hand, and carefully packaged in our UK facility, ready for prompt despatch.
