An insight into the manufacturing process…

Fresh castings are initially hard and brittle, so we run an extended 80‑hour annealing cycle, then cool them gradually to transform the carbon structure and achieve a tough, workable iron. After fettling to remove any sharp edges, components are assembled and treated with a rust‑inhibiting finish. We then apply a two‑coat, oven‑cured paint system for long‑term protection before final assembly, inspection and careful packaging for dispatch.
